Hydrosat

Hydrosat Onboard Thermal-alert System (HOTS)

Abstract

We propose to use Hydrosat’s cutting-edge smallsat system in conjunction with NASA algorithms and data to develop an onboard data processing system for vegetation thermal anomaly detection that can be deployable to our 4 million end-users. Using NASA ECOSTRESS and Landsat algorithms and data developed by ECOSTRESS founding Science Lead, Dr. Fisher, now Science Lead for Hydrosat, forms a strong intellectual bridge between NASA foundations and industry extensions, development, and innovation. This proposal represents an ideal synergy between NASA and industry with particular strengths for regenerative agriculture and sustainable forestry, and immediate application and scalability to millions of users around the world.
